Call came 10 am, recorded message said I could get a reduced rate for my credit card. I don't have any credit cards. Clicked 1 as indicated to speak to someone. Individual was unclear when they answered, call center sounds behind the voice. I asked what the message was about and hung up.
I keep getting the same kinds of calls - from various area codes (615, 508...). When taking the option (3) to remove myself from the list, it didn't seem to make any difference. I keep getting the calls. When I pressed 1 to talk w/someone, we (mutually) got billigerent with each other & I told them to take me off their call list - but the calls keep coming.
Anyone know how to report these jerks - I'm also on the do not call list...
@AY just ignore them. I only get called once, luckily.
What I've done is create a contact called "Spammer" and add this number and others (925-524-3099, etc) to that list. If they ever call back, I know who it is.
Call on my cell phone from this number. It was now "Rachael" instead of "Heather". From Account Services I was told after I pushed "1". When I asked for the company name that was calling, the woman who answered, hung up. The call indicated they could lower my credit card rate to 6.9%.
