Received calls on two separate occasions. One to me and one to my daughter. (Same guy),,,said there was a security issue with our computers. One said he was with Microsoft, the other said he was from Norton. We not very politely told him we weren't going to "take advantage of their offer to help"....definitely a scam!!
I received a call from this number. "Alex" with a heavy Indians accent said he was with Tech Squad which allegedly is a company that works for for Microsoft. He said He was in AZ. They said my computer was sending Microsoft all sorts of error messages. I played dumb and asked which computer. Alex said my Dell Inspiron (which I do have) . I asked for his info and said I would call him back. He gave me 860-222-2728.
