These [***] called my phone four times in a row. The first two times they wouldn't say anything. I heard nothing but air so I hung up. The next time they called back, they blocked their number. I have privacy manager so I was able to block the call. They then called back without blocking the number and this time a male spoke when I answered the phone. The guy was of Middle Eastern decent. He asked for me by my name. I wouldn't verify it and asked him what he wanted. He told me he was with law enforcement. I asked him which department. He told me he was calling about a payday loan in which I failed to payback. I told him he was lying that I didn't have a payday loan and that I was recording the phone call and would send it to the FBI. He immediately hung up.
Now I'm going to have to continuously check my accounts, credit reports, and etc. I have no idea how he got my name and number or wht other informaton he has about me.
Same thing is happening with me. Saying there is a lawsuit against me in my state from a unpaid loan one year ago. I asked for proof and he said something that i didn't understand and hung up. I'm positive i don't have any unpaid loans too.
I received the same type of call for a lady names Gina White. I asked if they can provide me with any type of document stating what is going on and if it was a serious matter like this why wasnt i notified by mail. she couldnt answer it at all other than we have tried emailing you and stated that if i dont take care of this matter by monday that they will show up to my work and arrest me for who knows what the hell for. she stated i committed some type of frud and that im going to jail for 9 months and to think about it when im behind bars. this is a huge scam. she stated we've never tried to contact you before that this was the first time, and I told her [***] you guys have called me a number of times and its all the same. FAKE.SCAM. WASTE OF TIME
