Beware- this woman is on the attack again! I just got a frantic call from a my grandma in Florida with the same exact story as posted here, though the woman had changed her story a little. Now, her name is "Natalia Ramirez" and she is supposedly a lawyer of the Department of Collections. She will say that there is a collection against you and that you failed to appear at a court hearing in front of "Judge Gustavo Bermudez" and that now she will ruin your credit and collect the judgment. Supposedly, it was for purchasing products worth $5,000 that were never paid for. She alluded that it was beauty products that my grandmother had bought, but would not say from what company or when. DO NOT give out any of your information to this person.
This woman is very rude, yelled at my grandma for "speaking over her and interrupting her", speaks English and Spanish, and needs to be reported. Once I get sometime, I will do so. Also, she called from a different number this time, (305) 330-6502, but since she uses the same story I was able to find on another discussion thread. Watch out!!
My aunt who speaks spanish got a call from this "lawyer" saying she failed to appear to court. According to her a company is suing her for cream products that she called to recieved but never payed. IT made no sense to me and especially the fact we got no letters from the company or etc. I told her to send me a letter to set up a court date. lets see how it goes
