I told the person to take me off of their call list and he said THE most vulgar things to me! I thought there were laws to protect us from people like this!! They aren't working!!!

Called our DNC registered landline on 09/20/2014 @ 04:48 PM from Miami, FL. Caller ID shows Cell a Phone FL. No message was left.
It's a new day and a new number for the daily telescum callers from Card Services or Consumer Svcs or whatever name they are using today. This scam has used hundreds of numbers from area codes around the country for the last 4 years. We've received around 2000 calls in that timeframe. We've never answered a single call. I believe they are now capable of spoofing your own number. I have received calls from my own landline while the phones were all hung up. If you've ever tried calling yourself, you know it is not possible. Years ago you got a busy signal and today you get access to voicemail.
I have Blacklisted this number. If this number calls again it will be registered to Caller ID history, but the phone will never ring.
Your caller is a criminal. A scammer, extortionists, fraudster, as probably a dozen other criminal things.
Laws can't protect you against murderers, car thieves, muggers, and the likes. How can they protect you from hidden scammers and obscene phone callers, usually calling internationally, over the phone?
