Caller ID said FLORIDA. I did not answer and it disconnected before the answering machine picked up. As a matter of policy, we never answer any more if we do not know the caller or recognize the number. $10/mo is a bargain to avoid unsolicited calls.
This number keeps showing up on my caller ID . This morning they called my number at 11:16 a.m. (12:16p.m
Florida time) I decided I would answer it but there was not anyone on the line, no sound, no nothing. I do wish so much if they would stop calling. I am a day sleeper and this is SOOOO annoying. I am on the DO NOT CALL LIST.Gov. (Which is like writing it in the Missisippi River hoping to get results) I would handle it myself if I could ever find out who an where they are located. I AM SICK AND TIRED OF THESE PEOPLE CALLING!!!!
I, also, just received a call from the same Florida phone number and called Directory Assistance to do a reverse search on the telephone number. Unfortunately, I learned that there is no information available for it, so there is no way to determine who is actually calling. I use to work for Southwestern Bell and know that calls can be generated from a computer, but it really makes no sense for these random calls to be sent with no person on the line or even a recorded message. So to SueAnn and any others who might be interested, there use to be a feature through Southwestern Bell where you can block a particular phone number (called Call Block) from calling you at all. I'm not sure how much it costs now, but for some of you it might be worth your while to check it out. Hope this helps those of you who have had this same annoying experience.

I just received a call from this number and it is a recording saying if you would like to lower your credit card interest to press 9...I pressed 9 and as soon as someone comes to the line and you want to have your phone number removed from there list they swear at you and hang up. We receive these calls at least 4-5 times a week and they will not remove your phone number, however, this number is a new one for our house.
