I am on the do not call list and don't appreciate these types of calls. On another website I saw that some people reported it's a company that wants to lower your credit card rate or some scam like that.
I picked it up. A recording: "This is Lisa, calling about your credit card..." I filed a complaint with the National Do Not Call registry, www.donotcall.gov.
Same here, Roni. One call about fifteen minutes ago, hung up on my answering machine. I do a lot of work from home, so non-business calls like this irritate the daylights out if me!
We have got around a hundred calls from these scam artists "This is Lisa, calling about your credit card..."
They change numbers often. So every once in a while I play around to see what they know. They say they want to lower your interest rates but what they want is your credit card number.
They knew my name so I told them it was wrong. They also know our credit is good, The guy sounded like he had a Dutch accent. At least I wasted some of there time.
