we kept getting texts all day at late a night from these people i contacted my bank and told htem they are going to try to track them down at no time did i give them my account. hope you can shut them down
I keep getting the same text message:FCFCU ugent notification: unusual activity, please verify your account...blah blah blah. When I called the number back it was a recording that told me to key in my credit/debit card number...of course I didn't. I called my credit union and they said that banks do not communicate by texts so it definitely is a scam. I've had this text sent to me about three times w/in the last two months. But every time there's a different phone number to call. The first phone number was a number out of Indianapolis, I called and it was disconnected. This last time the number was out of Florida. I just received one this afternoon and it's a totally different number with area code 267. I've been sending back nasty texts, telling them to get a real job whoever it is. I just feel sorry for the elderly people who may be falling for it.
I have received a number of text messages 2/1 and 2/2 stating "urgent notification:unusual activity, please verify your account.Call us at 12674011025." several duplicate messages with different phone numbers to call. Can I block their text messages in any way?
Keep sending text messages to my cell phones to call a number about my account(that I do not have with them). When I call the number it asks for my debit/credit card # to proceed to fix my account. I want these to stop! I dont know who or where or why they keep coming. I get 10 or more a day.
