I just got a call today too...with the threats..and they can hardly speak english....i even change my bank acct and cell number but they have the work number and they just keep calling..I even told them I had told the FBI on them and he basicly laugh at me
I received a call from a Indian sounding man from a company called Wilson and Morgan. They claimed that I had taken a loan out and never paid back. I advised this man I have never taken a loan out and to please send me proof of this. He said he was not going to send me any proof and there would be an officer arresting me at 11pm. I knew immediately this was a scam and hung up the phone. I then received a call at work advising me I needed to pay so I do not get arrested. I again advised him I know this is fraudulent call and that I was reporting there company. The man hung on me. I called the number back and advised them that I have reported them to the Texas Attorney office, the better business bureau, and fed Trade Commission.
I was advised by the Texas Attorney General office to report it to the Dallas Police Dept that way if there is identity theft on my credit I will have a report number on it. So that is what I have done so far.
All this happened because I inquired about a payday loan.

This same thing happened to me. All after I applied for a payday loan!!! They also told me that I am going to be arrested. The funny thing about my call is they were asking me for my home address and told me that they sent information to my email about some lawsuit. I am reporting them immediately!!!
