They just called me and I asked the name in which this company is registered. They had no idea on what to say. I then asked in what state and the didn't know either.. He said he was calling to confirm the address and he works for fed ex. I them told the ours the same number from where the transaction or sale was initiated and that this is not a fed ex number. I warned them that I was reporting this as a scam.
I recently had a call from Hispanic Foundation that spoke to Mr. Gerardo Reverol first, and Mr. Carlos Jose Montenegro later who was the Manager of the company, both they told me that had won a free English course in DVD, plus mp 4 video, a book, a dictionary and a huge bond of $2,500 for making purchases through web site: www.falabella.com and on TV's promotions.
In addition, I just had to pay the taxes $149.00. Unfortunately, I said yes but after receiving the package I will give a money order of that amount to Fed ex dispatcher. After I wanted to call them for checking if all this was completely true and also the phone number belonged to Hispanic Foundation, but nobody responded the phone I just heard a simple music for a while and hung up. Obviously, All this is scam and swindle, definitely, I won't pay anything to anyone. Thanks God that I just gave my name and house address, I don't think that with this brief information they can steal something or wanting to make some fraud to me. Anyway, I'll be in alert of it.
