Yes! I work at a credit card company so I clicked a number to ask to get removed from the list and he was telling me my voice sounds beautiful and that he thinks I look it too. Then asked if I was married or single. I asked him three times to remove me. Then he hung up. There's a lot of scams that come from down in Florida
The Do Not Call List law is a list of phone numbers where the owner does not want telemarketing calls and a law against making sales calls to those numbers. For a scammer its one more law to break.
The telemarketers got their lobbyists to make the do not call list only good for one year at a time. Said it was not fair to permanently ban a number as people change numbers all the time. You have to re-apply every year and that still doesn't stop the charity groups and political jerks from calling. Also Comcast sells the list of land lines they own to 800 Services. Have fun.
