Who called from 3055016506

THIS NUMBER IS COMING IN AS AN TEXT ONLY PHONE NUMBER AND THE PERSON ON THE OTHER END IS CLAIMING TO BE KIMBERLY WARREN.

I also received text message from this number and the person claims to be Alexia Shelley wanted to purchase a cooktop on Craigslist I have.  Gave email address of [email protected].  Sounded like a serious offer saying she will put funds into PayPal acct and come pick up, so I gave my address.  Haven't heard back.  I don't have a good feeling about this one.

I also received an offer on a living room set through  craigslist from an Alexa Shelley at [email protected]. Also seemed believable until she said she had sent the funds. Went to look at my paypal and didn't have anything pending. Checked my spam folder and there were some emails from "PayPal" from an @[email protected] via yahoo.com. None of the PayPal links were clickable and there was even a message from a "PayPal" associate. This person even went as far as contacting me as the moving company with a banner titled "swift movers" and claiming to be needing $450 for the pick up of the furniture. She had supposedly sent me enough funds to pay the movers myself but I would then have to send a money gram to some person in Daytona for $450 then send a jpg receipt through email to release the funds. At this point it was blatantly obvious that this was a scam. When I emailed back "nice try, scammer" Alexa never wrote back. BEWARE. I copied the email in Google and sure enough the exact words have been used in other scams.

I received an offer to purchase a large antique door I posted on Craig's list.  I was sent a text from number 305-501-6505 asking me to reply by email at [email protected] because she is at work and can't do texts.  I sent her the info by email and she asked for my home address twice.  I gave her my paypal email, but gave the general address for my development, because I didn't want to give out my address until I was paid.  When she then asked me for the final price, after already agreeing to buy it, I told her that I saw posts on the internet about her email address and that I wouldn't give any further info until the funds were in my account.  BIG surprise - never heard back.  I intend to let Craig's list know about what is going on.  Thank you all for posting - I hope more people read these before replying to this scammer.
