Same thing here. Called twice in 2 min. Second time they left a message. Robo caller saying there is a tax fraud case against me and I need to call them back or I risk being arrested. If you really had tax fraud or anything like that from the IRS, they wouldn't call you, you'd get a letter and an auditor at your front door.
This is for sure a scam. I'm not sure who I recently provided my number to, but I've gotten several calls today. Same message left for me. I'm 99.9% sure that if there was a tax fraud case against me, I wouldn't be hearing about it by automated message. And even if I didn't call them back, the first step about not be getting arrested.
They left a message saying a tax fraud case was filed against me. Total scam. The IRS doesn't call you for that sort of situation, they mail you a letter.
