WE ARE A MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL OFFICE AND WE GOT A CALL FROM "DR. ED. HARRIS" I CALLED BACK AND IT IS A TELEMARKETER CALL I INTERRUPTED THE DR AND FOR THIS PERSON TO WAIST A PROFESSIONAL PERSONS TIME IS VERY WRONG WE NEED TO TAKE CARE OF PATIENTS NOT TELEMARKETERS!!!!!!
Someone identifying himself as Dr. Ed Gutiérrez calls our medical practice. Very rude to receptionist. Won't tell what call is about or leave a message. Says Dr. Brant is expecting his call. When I answered, he is not a doctor but a guy trying to get me to open a brokerage account with him through "National Securities" so he can invest my money in some really great stock. When I hung up on him, he started calling my home phone. Very pushy. Researched National Securities. Lots of complaints against them and doesn't look like legitimate company, especially if you drill down on their "Web site." Just take a look at the "contact us" link. Very weird. Blocked this phone number to hopefully prevent further calls. (Said he sent me info via regular mail and e-mail; he never did.) STAY AWAY FROM THIS GUY! Sometimes identifies himself as Dr. Harris to our staff.
This persons calls almost weekly from 305-503-5158 asking specifically for the Dr. He never leaves a message and refuses to speak with the office manager. If he is a current patient, he would have to leave his information. We believed it to be a telemarkerter but now are unsure after reading the other online comments. People are scamming everywhere...
Called and asked for Dr. ****,
