A "girl" with this number tried adding me on facebook. Noticed that all of her friends were just guys and no girls. Deleted her after she sent me a few msgs to chat and text her on that number.
I'm going to go ahead and this proactively since "it" is now using a new number:
1. In your privacy settings, hide your phone number and email address. There is really no reason this info needs to be visible on Facebook.
2 . If you get the text, delete/block this person, and report the Facebook account as either fake, spam, or scam.
3 . Hide your friends lists as well. This will help prevent your friends becoming victims, and again , there's no real reason this info needs to be visible anyway.
4. Also, hide your birthdate (you can hide year only if you want).
Stay safe, folks. Put as little personal info on Facebook as you can and remember, if you wouldn't want to see it on the front page of your local news paper, don't use it on social media.
