I've been receiving many calls from this same number using various names including Jason Smith (most recently). They have called my place of employment, being told by fellow employees several times that I no longer work there. That has not stopped their harrassment. Now if I answer the call, it is a recording and I cannot speak to anyone. I keep interrupting their calls by picking up, hanging up, pushing various buttons on the phone, etc. but no matter what I do they keep calling. This number they are calling from is a different one than the one they started with. I've even received e-mails with the same threats. However, it's obvious that the poor English grammar and spelling gives them away. I have since put a block on the e-mails but that has not stopped the phone calls. I have contacted our state's Attorney General office. Although they are aware of the problem I was told it is such a huge problem that there really isn't anything they can do about it. A person does not have to apply online for a loan to have this harrassment. Anything you do online, paying bills, checking bank statements, etc. can give these hackers access to your information.
I recieved a call from this same number and the guy was asking to speak with my mother. I told them she was unavailable and asked to take a msg and he said his name was Chuck Davis and needed to speak to her urgently. The guy had a horrible Arabian accent too and i could barely understand him. Who is he?? and why does he keep calling at least 3 times daily??
I've been getting Jason Smiths voicemails for quite some time just ignoring them until he finally pissed me off enough so I called him and he just kept saying that I got a payday loan and returned checks so they're sueing me for 5,000 dollars and I need to get an attorney. I never recieved a loan at all! They're sad people that are trying to scare and scam people to get their money! Justice needs to be done to this guy!
Someone by the name of Jason Smith keeps calling me leaving threatening messages to get an attorney or pay money on a payday loan that I never had. They say it's a time sensitive message and I need to return the call or get a attorney, they can't even speak english are they even real?
It's funny because the same person called from this same number a week ago leaving a message saying that I was approved for a loan that I did not even apply for and to return the call and now this week this message that I owe and to get an attorney, what a scam.
I received a call from this Jason smith guy and he left two messages about I better get and attorney and the matter is time sensitive. He also says if I don't return the call will everything unfold on me. Then he trust to have the nerve to say God Bless you... Also when I called back it tells me that the number can not be completed as dialed. How do these type of people get our phone number, especially if its through a major service provider?
This number just called my cell phone telling me that they have a judgement against me that they have my information and they want me to tell them my information. When I asked them what there name is they tell me they are from a law office I said that I'm not asking them what law office they are from I asked them what there name is and I told them that I don't have anything against me and he got mad and I cut him off at the past and told him to just send the information to me and I will deal with it I hung up on the guy.
