This is the second call and his name this time is Jack Samules. He left a message with the phone operator this time asking for a call back ASAP because it was a urgent matter. I called back and asked for the name that he gave me the first time on 04/20/2009. Officer Brown came to the phone. This whole thing is a scam. Officer James Brown called stating that he was investigating a fraud case that involved me. I told him this was my work and he interupted me telling me to listen very carefully he asked me to verifiy information and I would not. He said this was a payday loan from 01/15/2006. This loan was paid, actually garnished from my wages more than 2 years ago. I stopped his ramblings as he told me that I would have a warrent out for my arrest. I said to never call this number again and then hung up. He called back and got to our human resources department and she took informaion from him to take to my supervisor and then she hung up with "Officer Brown" The information was that I was acting as a owner of the company and would they like to press charges against me. Jennifer my supervisor called me into her office and told me that this "officer called stated that this was a leagal matter and even gave a case number of fl664921. I called back and asked him to send me the signed paper by me that stated that i was owner of Express Care. He told me to pay the money or I would be sorry and my children could talk to me in prison for the holidays. He then hung up on me. Then Jennifer tried to call him and he answered again acting like a phone operator and she asked for Officer James Brown and he transferred the call to himself. She asked him to please send the paper work ane they would take care of the issue. He stated that he could only send the information if they wanted to prosicute me. She told him that is what she is trying to avoid and he told her to please not call back and hung up on her. This can not be legal and I have found posts all over the internet about this same company. I am lucky to have a good company that believes in me but what if this got to someone who did not. It is so hard to find a good job right now. This could ruin People and their families. I also found a artical by ABC with the same information. I would really like to see a result in this. Not just pushed to the side like some of the other posters that I have read.
I got a call from this number today. They left a message saying a bunch of BS and that I needed to get in contact with a William Geoffrey. The message was just plain ridiculous, but I called back to humor myself. The call was in regard to someone I know and me being an accessory to their actions. I pretty much shut everything he was saying down and hung up. I think these scam artists are taking their scheming to another level.
I got a call rom the same number last Saturday and I did not know until my husband told me he listen to the message. I decided to google the phone number and when I did I got your story. I just want to say thanks for posting the story because I will not be calling him back now that I know what it is involving...
