Received a (taped???) call on 8/11/08 at 5:59 p.m., from someone saying a friend referred me to them for "contract" business. Upon saying don't call this number, I got a disconnect.

I rec'd a call today at 9:38 a.m., and actually answered. They asked for me, but of course with it sounding immediatly like a sales call I said she is not hear may I take a message. He proceeded to ask what my relationship was to her, I said "excuse me?" I thought that was quite intrusive and non of their business who I was or my relationship to any one.
I got a call from this number at 8:30PM 8-6-08. When I answered, the person with a foreign accent acted surprised that I answered. I asked what company he was calling from and he said "dishnetwork". Actually he had to repeat it several times because I couldn't understand him. After he said "dishnetwork, he hung up. So I called back. No one asnwered and a few times it was busy. WHO gets a busy signal anymore, especially if it is a legitimate business. So I called several times to find out WHO was calling me. I finally got an answer and could not understand either. I asked for a supervisor. I then asked for the address of their business. He said "Miami". I said, I need the exact address and he said he wasn't allowed to give it out, but would I like to switch to dishnetwork. I asked if he seriously thought that I was going to give any information to someone randomly calling my house and not giving me their address. He said his company uses an automatic dialer and he was "offshore". All of this communication was very hard because of his poor english. OBVIOUSLY this wasn't dishnetwork, but some scammer.

Number on Caller ID...No message left though...Also on caller ID (Homestead, FL). I tried to call the number but don't get a ring...after about 40 seconds a recorded message comes on saying that the call did not go through and to try again later.
