I got the call from 305-587-2133. Here's how stupid this guy was. I answered and he said could he please speak with "my name". I told him I was speaking. He then said "sorry wrong number" and hung up. Has anyone been hacked in any other way after reveiving this call?
Two calls today, both hang ups. Returned call and "All circuits are busy" Next time they call I may blow my police whistle and hope for a ruptured eardrum on the other end!
I got a call this morning. Didn't recognize the number, so I didn't answer. They left no message. Called it back. Got message "all circuits busy" ........... Typical telemarketing garbage!
My Caller Id said "Circulation." I think this is a spoofed or computer-generated number, as I got the same message via callback: "All circuits busy. Try your call again later." This is one of the symptoms of a computer-generated number. I think this number is connected to establishing an account at J C Penney, for which I opted out of getting any marketing calls, etc. But, of course, the vultures are going to call anyway. This is another indication that we must urge our elected reps in DC to significantly strengthen the DNC laws to prohibit the use of any number not issued by a legitimate telephone company (common carrier), plus no soliciting for any political, charitable, survey, opinion research, or telemarketing, no calls unless the real name of the company is shown on Caller Id, etc. You can be sure that any donations made by credit card to these callers will mostly go into the pockets of the organizers, and a $15 donation will show up as hundreds of dollars worth of charges. The latter means you will have to deal with the idiots your credit card company has in India, Pakistan, Philippines, Costa Rica, Guatemala, or even Russia, plus provide documentation, to get the fraudulent charges off your account. Please contact your reps in DC, and get them to do something useful!
