I got a call from this number and they left a voice mail. They were personal injury lawyers trolling for clients involved in auto, boat, motorcycle accidents, etc.
A woman contacted me from the "WCA" (World Commerce Center), a "case review center" on behalf of one or more personal injury lawyers trolling for clients involved in auto, boat, motorcycle accidents or the like.
I asked for her name and number so I could forward it to the California State Bar to ensure compliance with California legal service advertising requirements and she hung up. I then passed this info along to the California State Bar's complaint hotline at (800) 843-9053.
The State Bar representative said they would look into it, as this telemarketing practice may be contrary to the California Code of Professional Conduct.
Got a call at 10am pacific and voicemail was a machine asking if i needed injury compensation and to press 1 now. they are trolling for customers who have been in accidents.
