Got a call on my 408 area code #. It's from LGL WC a research group asking if I or a family member took the drug. Called back, they are called WCA subscription group. I have never signed up with them, but the recorded message sites that I have a subscription with them since 2009?! Their recorded message had an option to have them stop calling you. Listen to the prompts, press 5 for cancelation services. Then press 2 to confirm cancelation. The recored message said it will take 7 business days to process my cancelation request.
I have also reported them to the National Do Not Call list. Hopefully these people will stop calling.
These people MUST be a scam. Like most others I got a call from them that I did not answer and they left no message. Only the number appeared on my caller ID, nothing else. The reason I know that it's total crap ... I've had this newly assigned cell number for less than 12 hours. The number replaces no old number and I've called nobody but my office with it to retrieve voice mail ... No one even has this number yet. They're trolling / robocalling !
some sort of robo call. I am on the do not call list, but these people don't respect that. I wouldn't do business with someone who does not respect the law.
