Said that IRS "Officers" were in surveillance of my house. (Foreign accent, had trouble with the word surveillance.) Said if I did not call back this number immediately, the officers would be at my door to arrest me.
Received a voice mail from this phone# claiming to be the IRS. Really??? Since when is the IRS located in Miami, FL? The actual IRS needs to be notified of these scammers.
I did not answer the call because the number registered as "Unknown". He left this word-for-word voicemail on my mobile phone (which has no incoming greeting/message): "Hi this is Officer Mark Watson calling you from IRS Department. The reason of this call is to inform you the IRS has issued an arrest warrant against you and your physical address is under Federal investigation. So call me back to get the detail information about your case. My call back number is 305-587-2891. It is very important we hear from you today. Thank you and have a great day." He had a heavy foreign accent and the call registered as Miami Florida on my cell phone. Looks like he has made a few calls in the Dallas area today.
