I received a call on my home phone from someone who gave his name as Alex, but the caller ID did not match that name.  He supposedly was calling about a renewal of a magazine subscription that was expiring.  The magazine is one to which I have subscribed for more than 40 years.  Contacting the magazine's customer service number revealed that my last subscription had been through an agency in the state of FL (the same state from which the call was made) and the subscription does not expire for several years.

I plan to contact the Agency directly...I fear that this may be a disgruntled employee who has absconded with subscriber personal information.
