Hey FTC! Ever think to make "marketing companies" do a background check on their potential clients? Or maybe shutting THEM down? They seem to provide robo-dialing services to a LOT of "companies", none of which seem to be legitimate. I haven't answered my phone in a dog's age because most of the callers are complete strangers to me! They even spoof legitimate numbers! I just wait for my answering machine to pick up. If a friend/family member speaks up I answer. Otherwise, F*#% OFF!
Someone called from "unknown" at 305 677-0401 saying they were from "Senior Benefits. I told them I wasn't interested and to take me off their caller list, they claimed they would.
DEA extortion scam. They try to pull this on me every three months or so. Perhaps they think I'll forget and fall for it? At this point, I just play along, letting them recite their entire script before telling them to f**k off.
Two calls in two minutes from this number. I hung up instantly, and that number is now forwarded to a different scam caller. Second call came as I was setting up the forward.
