ANNE DAVIS called a former employer of 10 years and my ex-wife of 5 years demanding to speak with me. They indicated that I had an old debt that needed to be paid. If I didn't pay it today, they would serve me with legal documents tomorrow and it would be $1000 more. I called the number 305-669-5613 ext. 87324 and was greeted by the "receptionist" that couldn't tell me the name of the company because she was in a "satellite" office and she was the switchboard operator for 10-20 different companies. When she placed me on hold, she indicated that she would transfer to Bonnie Scott. She answers the phone rudely and loudly, "BONNIE SCOTT, Active Litigation Department". When I began to tell her that I had no clue what was going on. She indicated that it was unlawful to record the call... I assured her I wasn't recording it. She refused to talk to me and said she'd call me back. When she called me back, she stated that I needed to call the company I owed money to. Uh, first of all, if you are trying to collect on their behalf, why the hell am I going to call them to find out about this alleged bill?????? This was a complete and utter scam... or an attempt at a SCAM! Since I wasn't scared by their tactics, they refused to talk to me. I was hung up on repeatedly. Please DO NOT give these people your information or your money. I am calling my local police department to file a report.
