Calling saying I had money deposited into my checking account on a certain date as the result of a payday loan. I told them that I have pulled up my checking account on line for that day, and that there was no record of any money being deposited into my account on that day. They told me that I would be arrested at my office by 2pm on the day of the phone call. As I work at the Courthouse, I had an associate call the local Sheriffs' dept and ask them if they had a warrant for me. Guess What........They didn't. This is a HUGE SCAM. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME IN CALLING THEM BACK
This person called stating I took out a payday loan. That I did not pay the loan back. Now they are filing charges against me. As I was talking to them I brought up the clerk of courts website where I live. Guess what no case against me. They did not like when I told them that. They are just scammers trying to take your money. Call them out and they will leave you alone.

I received a call from Nelson David from a law firm. He threatened me with court proceedings. I told him I have do not have any cases against me and that I did not know what he was talking about. He was very upset. He told me that I would be picked up right now and would be taken to jail. I have called the sheriff's dept and asked if there were any warrants out for my arrest. There were none. I am not sure what to do. He keeps calling me. I don't owe them anything.. It is harrassment.
The only thing you can do is contact your local law enforcement. The bad thing is they really can't do anything about it as these people are calling from overseas, but routing through U.S. phone numbers to get you to answer the phone. These scammers are protected by international law. Call them out....tell them to come pick you up and haul your [***] to jail, but also tell them that you will have the local sheriff waiting in the drive for them when they get there....they will never call you again!
