I've received phone calls from one of the numbers you mentioned as well. 305-760-4132. They did not leave a voicemail. However, I received a call from 305-760-4133 and answered the call about a week prior. They informed me that they were seeing "errors from my computer" and wanted to inform me. After questioning them regarding how they obtained this information I didn't receive a response. I just hung up on them.
Maybe they obtained my info from my PlayStation Network info being stolen? Just a thought.
I've gotten a call from this number twice now. Never answered it not knowing who it was. If i see it come in next time maybe I should and screw rigth back with them.
Caller from this number (and 305-760-4136) claims to be a representative of Microsoft Windows. Says that Microsoft has been receiving multiple error messages from the computers that will slow the computer and cause crashes.
Caller then asks how many computers are in the house, asks for respondant to go to desktop and look for errors. Told caller that the power was out at the house and to call back later. When power returned, called back number on land line, it rang a couple of times, and then it hung up.
Looked up this sort of activity after the call and found out it is most likely a phishing scam. See link: http://www.computerworld.com.au/article/31429 ... remains_active/
Got a call back now from 305-760-4133 but it was the same as above someone claiming to have something to do with Windows.
I asked for how they got my name and number since I was on the do not call list as and who they were. They did not identify themself and instantly hung up.
When I called back the number that had just called, I was told the number was disconnected or no longer in service. Mind you this is no more than 15 minutes after receiving the call from this number.
