Report it to www.donotcall.gov this should help. I get these calls all the time, and when I report them, I hear from them no more until a new one calls, then I report it. If a same number calls after a report, I believe it is a $17,000.00 fine per call. I love turning thease people. Maybe one day it will come to an end. Good luck.
I got a recorded message so pressed 1 to speak to an operator who wouldn't tell me the name of their company just that they are 'Card Services' and work directly for Visa and Mastercard. The operator I spoke to said his name was Chad Harper and that as long as I had 'their' property - i.e. a visa or m/c then they have every right to contact me... after pushing for the actual name of the company I was hung up on!
We have gotten these calls for 6 months from many of these "spoofed" phone numbers. This one was the auto warranty expiration call (there is also the lower your credit card rate call). These are not telemarketers, they are criminals out to steal your identity. There is much written on this...very sad.
I receive a call about once a week and each time it is a different reason. Credit Collector, Home Mortgage rate, and tonight it was vehicle warranty info. I pressed the number one and an operator came on line, they were definitely in a call center based on the background noise. The operator asked for the make / model and year of my car and I questioned him as to why he needed that information because they were calling me because my "warranty was about to expire" and they should have that information. His reponse was "uk u, uk u, uk u" and then I waited for him to attempt hand up but he couldn't because evidentally on an outbound dial only system and they cannot hang up. If you have the time and just want to irritate them, press 1 let them answer and then put the phone down and walk away. You just stopped them from calling someone else for at least a little bit, they won't be able to disconnect until one of their supervisors goes into their control system and releases the call.
Reverse lookup shows the following name address but when caling the number it has a disconnect recording:
Romeo Bodollo
785 NE 173rd Ter
Miami, FL 33162

Another note especially if you are on the DNC registry, report them to the FCC and the DNC Registry at:
