I put an ad in Craigslist looking for some extra work and this number sent a text message saying, "I may have a position you'll be interested in. I sell cotton fabrics materials. I need someone who can help receive PayPal payments from buyers. I'm unable to receive all of orders, i've reached my monthly receiving limit on PayPal. I'd be paying you based on commission and you work from home." (Their spelling and punctuation)
From the wording I assume that this person is not American and it is ridiculous for them to assume that I would let them have access to my PayPal account.
I got a message from STEVEN LYMAN from this number saying that I can get commission because he has too many sales on his amazon payment account. He needs backup to receive more payments and orders from buyers. He'll pay commission every time a customer buys a print. Offering 10% of amount of print. He wanted my account and made sure it was linked with a bank account. I am not just playing along with him and see how far it goes. Of course I am no dummy and knew it was a scam from the get go. But i hope no one falls into his trap!!!
