I received a call from this number on 3-22-07. When I started to ask questions, they hung up on me. I called right back and this number does not receive incoming calls. So, I called Cardmember Services (my visa Card)and asked them if they had any knowledge of a phone call to me. I was told that no one there had called me, he had no idea who had made the call to me. I am on the do not call list. I do not understand, because I am always getting these types of calls.
I received a call today at 2pm. Stated my low interest rate was about to expire, and press 1. Pressed 1, person picking up asked if we pressed 1. Spouse asked who they represented, he wouldnt say, she asked the name he had on his screen and he hung up. I tried *69 and it said number is not known. I don't even live in the US
Same thing happened to me today (3/19/07) I asked what card it was for without giving my name, the person on the other end of the phone would not talk after that. I then said I would call the police if they would not talk, and they hung up.
