Same Lisa Ford, same spin, same request for a card number. My answer was no and would check them out on the internet and have not heard back. Wish I had recorded it. She left this number : 866-208-9351. I recommend not calling this number!
305-855-9374 Padron Wilder is what comes up on Caller ID.
I answered the third call within as many hours. A woman claimed she was calling from Northeast Financial (305 area code is Miami, FL. - not exactly in the north east)
The woman wanted to know if I was aware that the federal reserve dropped rates and that new laws have allowed a reduction in credit card interest rates on Mastercard and Visa. She asked me how much outstanding debt I had on credit cards and what are my interest rates. I gave her this information without great detail. She said one of their financial analysts would call in about an hour and would I be available then. I said yes. She asked me to have a pen and paper ready. I have not yet found out anything about this company or the phone number. It sounds like an "identity theft scheme to me"!
I just got the same call from East Valley financial. I called the police. They told me to get a phone number from them when the so called manager calls me back to seal the deal. I am then supposed to call my phone company and tell them what happened and give them the phone number. The phone company will then go into my phone records and I guess follow it back to the connection. Then the police can be called in.
I got a call from them and listened to the whole program. To me it sounds good and not a scam. Their financial analyst calls our debtors and negotiates a lower interest rate. They say they will get my interest lowered by 50%. I am going to try it so I will write back in a month and let you lnow if it"s a scam or not
