got the pre recorded call like every one else I called them back talk to a man with a east indian accent said he was agent Kevin Martin with the IRS said I owed back taxes of around $3000. I asked how seeing as I have not declared any deductables and have not been audited by the IRS he told me to pay or go to jail. I requested any info he had to be sent to me by registered mail he said cops will show up at my house to arrest me in a couple of hours told him go ahead send the cops. I may start calling him every day just to waste his time its kinda fund to Piss them off.
I have been called by these individuals several times. And, they change who they represent == once from American Express (I reported them to AMX and it was quickly taken care of) to IRS (the IRS does not make phone calls -- they send letters); and from the UN of all organizations. It is always the same man who has called me -- and every time I get the call I put it into a call reject device that drops the calls from that point on after the first ring. Today I called several times one after another for estim. 15 minutes -- making them aware that they too can be bothered. After several calls the call was put into the message -- mail box is full and where the same man answers with a dead silence. I am happy I will not receive more as the call reject system will drop them.

Similar call to everyone else, recorded message claiming to be from IRS. Put the phone down within a few seconds. Number from which they call is supposed to be registered with Level 3 Communications so might contact them to see what they know.
