this was a call from a company called premier gateway, and were offering a free trip. this company actually transfered me to a outside number 6 646 537 3462
Have seen this number on my caller ID. Tonight they called with 'important information about my car warranty'
When a human came on the line, they asked to verify my car make and model. I asked what car they were calling about becuase 'I have never had a car warranty and I'm on the do not call list. So what car are you calling about?' They hung up!
A few months ago, similar call (I didn't write down the number), when I asked what car they were calling about, the woman hung up on me.
My husband and I are on the DNC list (and have been) and every day we get a call from these guys about "last chance" and since we do not carry a credit card balance, I finally chose to select the option to speak with a person. When the person answered, I started in with my story and asked to be taken off their list and they hung up on me!!! The nerve!!! My husband called the number on caller id and got a recording that it was "no longer in service."
I received a call from this number with the same recording.
Also received it from 562-246-0169, with the exact same recording.
If I could figure out the name of the Company, I would complain to the DNC list and to the company.
