call had something to do with medical. Could hardly speak ENGLISH so didn't understand him./ Told him to take me off his calling list and he hung up on me. Is anyone doing anything to shut these people down. I am even of the frickin NO CALL REGISTRY!!!!!!
A fellow who could barely speak English called my older parent and said he need information to send her a new medicare card. He wanted to know the name of her bank. When she tried to call the number it is reported as out of service. Beware!
Called me by name -had information no one should have but my family, my bank and me - was transfered to many different people, none of whom spoke without a considerable accent - some saying this was replacement Medicare card - some said not affiliated with the government and some stated they were with the Medicare office. I had several incoming calls from the same unidentified cellphone number while I was talking with them. One person said they were GMS ? ? ?
Makes me want to close my bank accounts. Just might do that very thing!
Just received a call from this number - claimed to be from GNY. Had bank details. During enrollment process I was told they were going to bill me $493.00. I hung up and am going to call my bank.
Same message about a new medical card for seniors.
