Same here, 3 calls in 6 hours yesterday, looked it up, sub shop, they got hacked, this craziness is ruining businesses and people's lives. I don't understand why something can't be done to end this!
New one from 305-891-6565, caller ID says City Slickers, just a junk call but I don't respond to unknown callers..Just thought it should be logged on here...
(305) 891-6565 is a legitimate number belonging to:
Slickers Subs & Salads
1807 Ne 123rd St
North Miami, FL
The number has been hijacked by scammers who are using it to call you. They can do this, (known as spoofing) by entering any number into a VOIP (Voice Over Internet Protocol) on a computer, and when they call you, it appears to be a legitimate phone call.
Because it is a computer generated call, it cannot be traced back to the caller. I have even received calls that show my own phone number as the caller on my caller ID. Gotta love computers, smartphones, tablets, etc..........
Got a call from this #. Looked it up and it stated it was a sub shop in Miami FL called City Slickers Subs. I called the number from another line and the Sub Shop confirmed someone has hacked their number and they have received numerous complaints that they were receiving calls from this number but it is not the sub shop making these calls.
