One of my co worker received the same call. They used her teenage daughter telling her that they would kill her father if her mom did not pay. The ordeal lasted over an hour. Terrible person that takes advantage of innocent people.
Claims to have gotten in an accident with someone you know. Common scam trying to get you to wire them money while they hold this person "kidnapped" for the damages to their car.
They said a family member of mine (male) was in an accident but couldn't give me their name, car they were driving or any information. Since I know of all these scams I wouldn't give any information and as soon as I called my son on the other line and knew he was at work, told them then they hung up on me. SCAM!!!!
