Caller was offering a direct deposit into my bank account of a Federal Grant for $25,000.00 which was not being needed to be repaid. They had to have the direct deposit information so the "governent could deposit it"
This number called my cell phone knowing my name and left a voicemail message saying i was selected to recieve $5,000 from the Federal Grant department which didnt need to be paid back and to call them back at 305 921 0784
Caller said his name is Sean Michaels ( Heavy Indian accent ) asked for personal information to direct deposit U$5000,00 into my bank account.
Also claimed he was calling from the US Government Grant's department.
Kept calling back and trying to fish information from us.
Received a call from Shaun Michael (thick Indian Accent) in Miami, FL. He said that the Government Grant was going to give me a grant for $35,000. He asked if I wanted it by mail or directly into my bank account. I told them I would not give my bank account info. He said I could get the check by mail and gave me another number to contact Kevin Macllum in D.C. (202)470-0646. I called that number to see what Kevin had to say. He was very defensive. When I told that I thought it was a scam and never to contact me again. He became very agitated. I told him to have a nice day. He immediately called me back and said they I was harassing him and it was a crime to interfere with a government process. I immediately reported this to the FTC.
