This number called my cell too. They did not leave a message. Frustrating that being on the no call list doesn't make a difference. I blocked the number on my cell based on your posts. Thank you.
Caller is a scammer. I only have one credit card, and the bank it is through does not have the phone number that this idiot called on. Since my cell phone is on the Do Not Call list, I asked him if the bankruptcy court gave him my phone number (I have NOT filed for bankruptcy - but he didn't know that). He still wanted my account number to "give me a lower rate".
The first call telling me i was being sued by the IRS came from 442-278-6242.The 2nd call telling me the same thing came from this # 305-9261221 and instructing me to call the first # for more information.This is a scam ! A man that sounded like he was from India,in a noisy room full of other people talking,was threatening me with loss of home and bank accounts and everything else.I started yelling at him and told him he was a fraud and to go screw himself He hung up.I called the national call number and filed a complaint.
