I had registered a new domain name just days before - this caller apparently monitors new DNS entries and spams the registrant, hoping to con a n00b by selling them overpriced SEO "services" (which anyone able to "google" could do themselves for free). Perhaps not a total scam, yet somewhat predatory in nature. They did ignore the DNC, however.
I just received a call from this number also. Definitely a spoofed number. Because, when they left a voicemail, the phone number was a different number. On voicemail it came up as 949-259-2470.
Said that they spoke to me awhile ago about Google placement. NOT.......
Company is GoZoek in California. Says they only make business to business calls so they are exempt from DNC registry even though they use spoofed numbers. They are real A'''''''''
