Same with me, They are going by Recovery Solutions Group with me, I'm in NC and this is illegal, it's actually a federal law for Any debt collector impersonating a law enforcement officer or threatening you with immediate arrest if you don’t pay up is violating federal law. So am on the phone now waiting to talk to my fake case manager to get a validation notice, lol. Answered right away when I called them back the first time, now on hold with music playing for the last 5 mins cause I told them I was disputing them, lol. Asked for address but they won't give it out so I have the name and number so next step is reporting them to the FTC and NC State Attorney's Office. Tired of them harassing me, so am going to take it up a step. Would suggest that all of you do the same thing. This is illegal.

Guys, I am having way to much fun with these people, I called back using *67 so they wouldn't see my number and got the "Case Manager" name, Amy btw. Playing along with her and then asked if this was a civil matter and she said yes, then I told her that threatening criminal charges or being arrested is against Fed. law, she said she had been working for so many yrs and actually it wasn't, THEN I blew her mind, told her I was a paralegal which I am and click. Tried to call back and they have blocked both numbers they were calling from. Now to next step, reporting them to the FTC and NC State Attorney's Office. Anyway, hopefully now that they know they can't get over on me, they won't call back. Good Luck Guys. Try what I did, just don't say you're a paralegal unless you are. Do not confirm any info they say about you, even an old address or anything. This is fun for me, sorry they are bothering you guys. Hopefully I've stopped it on my side.
