Just got one, not for BH&G but for the Atlantic. This has happened before and when I called the mag's customer service, they don't have anything to do with these calls. Someone gets a hold of their subscriber list somehow and then tries to scam you into giving your card info. Case in point: last year I actually got one to send me something in the mail, with an address of 5042 Wilshire Blvd., Suite 24866 in L.A. Looked up the address and the "suite #" was actually a PO Box # at a Mailboxes Etc. out there. Don't cancel your subscriptions; they have nothing to do with these people. Just don't ever renew anything over the phone, especially when they tell you (like the one tonight) that they can't send you anything in the mail unless you agree to renew right then and there.
Got several hangup calls from this number, finally they actually spoke to me, said they were from Dog Fancy magazine. I asked to be removed from call list and he said "screw you". Nice.
Received numerous calls from this number 307-257-6213. I finally blocked the number and have not received any more calls since. Thank goodness for block call services on both home and cell phones.
