they called at 9pm.when you confront them they hang up without a reply.I feel harressed by these people.

This outfit calls about once per week, usually at dinner time.  They do not respond if you answer; they disconnect when answering machine operates.  I have called the number to have my number taken off their call list; however, they do not answer this phone.

it's just another police charity SCAM. All the "donations" go to the call center. They spoof local numbers to make it seem more convincing.

NEVER GIVE MONEY OVER THE PHONE UNLESS YOU INITIATED THE CALL AND YOU ABSOLUTELY KNOW WHO IS ON THE OTHER END.  NEVER.
