Here in the US several people have been cold called while using Skype.

Pop ups on banner ads on internet content via SRP engines but nothing directly through Skype.

The only facts are that when people receive this call on their landlines or mobile phones they are running Skype.

This company claims that the FBI recommends security installation services and is looking for credit card information.

Called my cell phone - I didn't answer (figured it was the usual scam).  Judging by the other calls, we should ask this company -- "if the security system is free then why do you guys need my credit card"?

Saw this in my missed calls list at 5:46am on my government work cell phone. I have no idea how I could have gotten on the list, I never give that number out for anything. Might have been the person who had the number before me, as for the last year I've gotten more calls looking for "John", some real estate agent, than looking for me (I'm really important, hahaha). Still way too early in the morning though,hope this is the only call from them

Also got a call from this number 13 minutes ago (I'm in IL). No voice message was left.
