Jan 6 2015 Got a call about 10:30 am and there was an automated message regarding lowering interest rate. I felt I may have missed the beginning of the message and the message said it was the last time they would be calling regarding this so to press 1 if I was interested, I pressed 1 to find out who it was and if it was one of my credit card companies.
When they answered they said, you are interested in lowering your credit card rate? I said, I'm just trying to find out what company this is, they immediately hung up. When I tried calling back, it doesn't go through, yes very shady!
My dear mother passed away on the morning of January 4, 2015. Since her death, 307.366.9898 has called her cell phone three separate times. I thought it might be someone calling to express their condolences. Good thing I looked up the number first - how very disturbing that telemarketers are not held accountable for infringing on peoples lives. My mother was also registered on the DO NOT CALL list. They need to be punished to the fullest extend. Our family is grieving and now here is extra work we must take care of by blocking this number. I had wanted to keep my mother's phone active for another week or so, but these repeated calls may not make that possible!
Same thing happened to me! When I pressed 1, the lady said "Thanks for holding, are you interested in lowering your interest rates?" I responded "hi, how are you?" and she hung up! This happened on Jan. 6, 2015.
