Received a call from Dir Assist WY, 1 307-555-0118. Woman with a accent left message. I think she said her name is Judith Parton. Badge number is 4165. I think she said the nature or purpose of this call is regarding and enforce this action which has been executed by United Treasury and Department for tax fraud against you. You need to contact me before you have to appear before a magistrate, judge or grand jury.This is a federal criminal offend. You may have to appear before the federal claims court house or be arrested. Number to call back is 202 738-4446 before charges are pressed against you.....Needless to say, I DID NOT return this call since it is a fraud. When did Directory Assistance begin warning people of imminent arrest regarding a federal offendence or offend as she stated?
Received this call today as a follow-up call from a few days ago - the first call was 703-555-0154 and the man left a threatening message - me or my lawyer should call him back asap or else there would be consequences. He then proceeded to wish me luck should I not call back. I checked the number on -line and found other people had received the same threatening message. I notified my company manager and also the front desk to watch for that number. When a similar number came through, I took the call and was informed that I was a suspect in a case - no company name, no specifics given. I informed the man -who had a heavy accent - that I had checked him out and reported him to the authorities since he was a scammer. Then I told him to drop dead.
Thank you for the info. and you are right it is a scammer, I tried to call the number back and it said the number had been changed or disconnected. This scammer called me but I did not answer. I use to know someone (Princess Kathryn Angel Greystone, aka Gloria Hilstad) who did this just for fun and she used a friend who she called Detective Mark who is an ex-con and ex new York police officer, funny he got fired because he had something to do with a bombing in the city.

Got this number on my Call Display as "Unknown Name" and there was no '1' in front of the phone number - which indicates its is a spoofed/faked number. No message was left. Reverse Lookup says the line Owner is 'QWest Communications' out of Cheyenne, Wyoming USA. I'm in the Greater Toronto Area and know of no person or company from there.

These crooks are trying to get personal information out of you, which is used for Fraud (including Fake Passports/IDs, etc.) and they also target seniors so warn your elderlies!
