I got a call today, ring once and went to VM. Scott wants my company to make $100,000 in 45 minutes so I need to text him so we can become acquainted. I'm not calling or texting! It's a scam and I hope no one falls for it. Those kinds of people should be ashamed of themselves!! Get a job!
Went straight to voice mail so could not answer it. Here is the message: "Hey there, sorry I missed you. Scott Walker here. I found your information online while looking for real estate in the area and kinda got a little crazy question for you. Do you have any interest or capacity to handle anymore business? No, I'm not trying to sell you any leads. I'm actually writing a book on my ability to do 45 minute turn-arounds where I guarantee any small business $100,000 in 45 minutes without spending a dime on marketing or advertising. I know-a little hard to believe but something we've been doing for more than 20 years, and my publisher reviewed the latest draft of my book and told me we needed more real estate-related case studies, so she literally threw a dart at a map on the wall and it landed near you, so therefore, I wanted to ask you if you'd let us perform this service for you and use the results as a featured case study in the book. I won't charge you a dime; all I ask is use your permission to use the results. If you're open to that text me back at this number, we'll arrange a time to get acquainted see if you're a good fit for the project. Look forward to talking to you soon." It is obviously a scam! I will not be calling him back.
