2-3 calls daily. If we do not answer, they do not leave voice mail. If we do answer, they explain it is about security for senior citizens (no one in the home are seniors). Have repeatedly requested to be removed from their call list as we are on the DNC list. They promise to remove our number but do not. Calls have been continuous since August. Found out today, they are from Life Shield Security. We have their system (purchased prior to Life Shield owning service). Next call we receive, will tell them we will discontinue their service & switch to Comcast (better price anyway w/Comcast). No mre requests to be removed from their list, we will instead remove them from our monthly bills & will also remove our other two systems our family has with them. If they wish to lose over $120.00 per month from longtime customers, so be it. Also have reported to PA Gen. Atty. six times in past six months and will continue to do so. Enough is enough! Leave your customers alone LifeShield!
Got a call today while at work from this number. I did not answer it. From what I see from other people that have replied on here, I am glad that I didn't answer it.
Got this number, picked up, "Local Police recommend a security..." blah blah blah.
Pressed 9 to be placed on the do-not call. They call every week.
This time, I talked with Mario from "Security Systems". I was very nice, and said I'd been getting these calls too often, and I'd like to be added to their do-not-call list. He promptly hung up on me.
Got a call from this number--didn't answer it--they left no message. I think the reality of actually being on a "no call list" is an impossibility. And thanks to previous people warning about pushing numbers to "be removed" from their calling list. These bad-guys are getting tricky with the many ways they try to squeeze into our lives!
A "No Call List" doesn't exist. It's mythical.
Well I work in Iraq and Kuwait and these idiots keep calling my vonage/VOIP line between 1 am and 5 am Kuwait local time.
It is an absolute nightmare. The trick I usually take is to find SOMETHING about them to retaliate.
One trick is to get their fax number for them, their attorney or otherwise a business partner. THEN use my Fax capable printer to send them 50 pages of a word document with the background set to BLACK, pure BLACK. As the average printed page is only 5% coverage of toner, each 100% black page is like 20 pages. SO sending them 100 pages of pure black pages is like printing 2000 pages. Some machines are damaged by the heat generated on the drum by printing full black pages excessively.
At least what I do is set my fax machine to auto dial them (with *67 for anonymity) indefinitely.
