I received another one of these calls even though I have requested many times to be removed from their call list. These people are telemarkers selling a medical alert system. Yes, the instellation, equipment is free as it is in all of these medical alert systems. I listened to the entire sales pitch, they calaim they are the Senior Medical Care. Once the "free" stuff is installed, you pay $34.95 a month for the service. So, since they are selling a system, that makes them telemarketers. I am a senior citizen and I have a medical alert system that was set up by my local hospital at my family"s request the setup was free, and no cost for the equipment, but I do pay a monthly fee. And when I die (down the road a ways) they will come and pick up the moniter and etc. When I informed the young lady that she was selling a system and that made her a telemarketer and that she was breaking federal law because my number was on the don't call list. She hung up. You can be sure that whoever is behind these calls will receive a commission for selling the system. I will be reporting this to the Attorney General of my state. This whole thing is illegal because they are selling..
