No idea who called me from this number, as they left no voicemail, but it rang and rang until it just stopped ringing. CID says it as being from McCook, NE. I don't know anyone from NE, so I'm assuming it's a phishing scam with a spoofed number, a political call, or who knows what. I don't answers calls from numbers I don't know. I just let them go to voicemail, I hit ignore if the option is there, and then I look them up online. Most often, these will end up being blocked.
Within less than a minute of my ignoring the first call though, I started getting a bunch more unknown calls. The first said No Caller ID, the next showed a CID of 972-221-8238, and listed as originating from Lewisville, TX, then another one with no CID, and then two with the CID showing 989-227-6215 from Saint Johns, MI. None of these are calls I'll ever both answering and all will end up on my blocked list.
