This is a scam. These people say they are a loan company. They want you to send them money to receive a loan from them. They speak with a foreign accent and a heavy voice. But you never get the loan if you send money to them you lose it and it is never returned to you.

Now apparently they are pretending to be a law firm telling there victims that the are going to go to court unless they pay X amount of dollars.  they use words like affidavit and court room with a judge and jury.  these idiots don't realize that failure to pay on a payday loan is a civil matter not a criminal matter.  Also that only a court can issue an affidavit and it must be presented certified mail if not hand delivered.  Not some shady think accent person over the phone.  Don't fall for this... instead have so fun pretend to cooperate.  every minute you spend messing with them they are not messing with someone else.

I received a call from this number.  They left a message but I couldn't understand a thing they were saying due to the heavy "foreign" accent.  I called back to give them a piece of my mind and was placed on hold for too long so I hung up.  I don't think so.  Not today.

Janet and everybody else reading this. These morons call and yes the accent is soon thick you can't understand. It's humorous that the name is so American but you can't understand a word they say.

Here's the thing. DON"T CALL THE NUMBER BACK.
They verify the call back number and at that point can find all types of info on you. Watch your credit file very closely if you already made the mistake of returning the call. They also get verified info when you answer these calls. I am currently working a case where a person lost close to 5k from one of these calls. BE CAREFUL PEOPLE.  Best advise is if you don't know the number let it go into voicemail. If it is important they will leave a message for your attention.

Extortion Scam Related to Delinquent Payday Loans

Washington, D.C.
December 07, 2010  FBI National Press Office
(202) 324-3691

The Internet Crime Complaint Center has received many complaints from victims of payday loan telephone collection scams. Callers claim the victim is delinquent in a payday loan and must repay the loan to avoid legal consequences. The callers purport to be representatives of the FBI, Federal Legislative Department, various law firms, or other legitimate-sounding agencies. They claim to be collecting debts for companies such as United Cash Advance, U.S. Cash Advance, U.S. Cash Net, and other Internet check-cashing services.

According to complaints received from the public, the callers have accurate data about victims, including Social Security numbers, dates of birth, addresses, employer information, bank account numbers, and the names and telephone numbers of relatives and friends. How the fraudsters obtained the personal information varies, but in some cases victims have reported they completed online applications for other loans or credit cards before the calls started.

The fraudsters relentlessly call the victim’s home, cell phone, and place of employment. They refuse to provide any details about the alleged payday loans and become abusive when questioned. The callers have threatened victims with legal actions, arrests, and, in some cases, physical violence if they do not pay. In many cases, the callers harass victims’ relatives, friends, and employers.
